   Happy Mother's Day

We always wish people we know and love happy mother's day.Today I want to say Happy Mother's Day to those that tried and failed in society's eyes. To those who did only what they knew how. To those that had struggles which prevented them from having that indefectible bond.

We always praise for hours of endured labor pains and attended soccer games.
We may know not the strife of broken bones and children's tones of pain endured at the hands graced with blood from sins of fathers past. But, to you I say Happy Mother's Day.

Street dreams on broken asphalt sands filled with tears from babies born and mothers torn from stem to stern. I dare not question frontal lobes and folds of pierced pain. But, to you I say Happy Mother's Day.

Sipping life's task through sermon filled flask. Lips wet, skin slashed, tears falling from broken sockets wrenched with guilt not theirs to bear. I need not knowledge of romanced circumstances nor explanations advanced from guilt split lips why, to pray for addiction recovered keys to buried treasure boxed pleas. To you I say Happy Mother's Day.

Extreme gratitude for passing moments of grief from stricken beliefs hurried through tunnels blown. Giving way to raised lives not born of wombs intact. Scripted names across bewailed lines. Showing signs of pain, fear, joy, and relief. To you I say Happy Mother's Day.

Occasional obscured views through tear glazed eyes and printed window streaks. Moments missed, bars of disconnected ignorant bliss. Sacrifices made, forgotten victims fade into detentions and not to be mentioned obstacles surrounding this day. To you I say Happy Mother's Day.

I could go on and on, filling pages of life's tormented scorns. Instead, I ask that you pray for a better us, a better peace, a better understanding of decisions made through stages of life's unpredictability......and to you I say Happy Mother's Day
